Pentax *istDL2

The *istDL2 is the latest member of the growing *istD family, here in black.

THE DL2 was launched early spring of 2006 into the confusion caused by the collaboration with Samsung and the recent release of several DSLR models from this company.
Reportedly, the *istDL2 will only be available in Asia and Canada. The assumption is therefore that the rest of the world will be able to buy the corresponding model from Samsung, the GX-1L.
New features in the *istDL2 are an improved 5-point (up from 3) autofocus and a live preview function. Whether the latter also will be available in the Samsung model is not yet known. The *istDL2 will have the penta-mirror introduced with the *istDL, while the GX-1L should feature the pentaprism of the *istDS.
